Peter Edwards was appointed Vice-President Human Resources and Industrial Relations in August 2010, responsible for the integrated function across North America.

As a Canadian of Jamaican decent Mark Brown came to Canada when he was two years old. He started working at Canada Post when he was eighteen years old as a temporary worker on the midnight shift. After working all night Mark Brown would attending the north campus of Humber College studying accounting during the day. He am a Truck Driver by trade and currently holds a position as a Truck Driver for Canada Post. Mark Brown has been representing the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) in one form or another since 2000. 

Joe Leon is the Co-President of AGS Automotive Systems and Tiercon Corp., both members of the J2 Group of Companies. As Tier 1 automotive parts suppliers, AGS and Tiercon manufacture high performance complex plastic-metal integrated modules for the automotive industry, such as bumper systems and running boards. Together, AGS and Tiercon employ over 1,000 people and have 2 million square feet of manufacturing space in North America.

Sarah Watts-Rynard has been Executive Director of the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum since October 2010.  She oversees a team working to develop and deliver initiatives in support of Canada’s apprenticeship community.  This work includes promoting skilled trades careers, undertaking research to inform evidence-based apprenticeship policy and practice, and connecting stakeholders through events designed to share best practices.

Dena Warman is a Policy Development Officer with the City of Toronto. Living and working in many different settings Dena's professional experience includes urban planning, economics, and community development. Dena holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics in City Design and Social Science from the Cities Program, a bachelor's degree from the University of Waterloo in Planning, and a Certificate in Community Economic Development from Simon Fraser University.

Michael works as the Newfoundland and Labrador Organiser for the Canadian Federation of Students. The Canadian Federation of Students - Newfoundland and Labrador unites every public post-secondary student in that province.

Kathleen is a strategic communications professional and project consultant. She was the founding Executive Director of the Broadbent Institute, a progressive organization focused on public policy and training. Prior to that, she served as Director of Strategic Communications for Jack Layton. Before entering politics, Kathleen worked as a producer in newsrooms Toronto, Ottawa and Washington.

Michelynn Laflèche is Director of Research, Public Policy and Evaluation at United Way Toronto. Prior to joining United Way in 2011, she worked as a consultant with Civic Action and from 2001 to 2009 was Chief Executive of the Runnymede Trust, a leading social policy and research charity in the UK. Michelynn holds a master’s degree from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa.
