Future of Work Symposium at Ryerson University

What does work mean to you? We want to know!
This interactive event will focus on what work means to the next generation of workers and YOU the employer.

As Canada’s first Changemaker Campus, Ryerson University is committed to solving real-world problems in creative and innovative ways. The future of work is an emerging issue for university students and youth as traditional jobs are growing scarce and the contingent workforce is growing. At the same time, employers maintain that their needs for talent are not being met. The rapid pace of technological change, the collision of multiple generations in the workplace, with diverse values, expectations, and work styles are creating massive challenges for organizations. High profile speakers will be sharing their expertise on the changing workplace. Hands on workshops will allow for collaborative work between industry partners and current students on issues such as expectations around work/life balance, intergenerational differences and the impact of a digitally-savvy youth workforce.
